Security & Privacy
School-focused security with minimal data collection, FERPA and COPPA compliance, and district-controlled data management under School Data Processing Agreements.
FERPA Compliant
School-official exception with minimal directory information only. No educational records created by the system.
Minimal Data Collection
Only student first name (nickname allowed), classroom ID, and schedule data. No photos, emails, addresses, or SSNs.
COPPA Under-13 Safe
No contact information or persistent identifiers. School provides parental notice with opt-out support.
Standard Encryption
Encryption in transit and at rest. Role-based access with auditable actions. No third-party sharing.
School Data Controller
District controls all data under School DPA. Divine Design acts as processor with 72-hour breach notification.
School Year Retention
Default retention: school year only. Automated end-of-year cleanup with admin-initiated deletion available.

Minimal data collection for educational purpose only

Nickname allowed for privacy. No last names or personal identifiers collected.
Classroom Association
Grade-teacher classroom ID for educational context only. No individual student tracking.
